Kombimatec Machines recently exhibited their uPVC window machinery at the window & door exhibition in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) India and witnessed a rush of local companies starting up fabrication plants.

India is a booming economy and building is a major growth area with large housing development complexes under construction in all the main cities. Aluminium has hitherto been the dominant material used for windows but uPVC is becoming more widely accepted as an alternative and is destined to take a fair share of the window market.
