To improve the efficiency of the uPVC window fabricator using the new 1HDX Kombimatec Cruciform Welder a set of support arms are now available and can be fitted to existing machines in the field.

The HDX offers considerable benefits to the fabricator of complex windows involving one or more crucifix welded joints and the addition of the support arms makes them even easier to produce.

Crucifix, Cruciform or Cross weld, whatever you choose to call it, welding them the common way is time consuming when compared to using the HDX. I would estimate a saving of manufacturing time of 15 minutes a joint and an improvement in the quality of finish. Especially on a reversed or ‘T’ to ‘Z’ configuration.

Time saved by making just one weld not three, cutting only arrowheads and no vee knotches and cleaning only once rather between each part weld.
